What is the meaning of slotting of automobile rigid and flexible board? Slotting Slotting can be drawn with a mechanical layer, the width of the slot is the line width, and the shape of the slot is the line. Use the mechanical layer to draw multi-segment arcs if you need a ring, and you can mark the mechanical layer as the slotted layer when drawing.
Between the strong and weak electricity on the PCB, the PCB material can also withstand a certain withstand voltage, but the PCB will be stained with dust and moisture after a long time, resulting in a decrease in the withstand voltage, which means that the creepage distance is reduced.
Note: Creepage distance is the phenomenon that the insulation resistance decreases after the surface of the insulator is contaminated and damp, and current (or even arc) is generated under high voltage.
Between the high voltages of the components, the slotting of the rigid-flex board can only be used to prevent the creepage distance from being insufficient and the leakage current of the rigid-flex board from increasing when it is damp. After the PCB is slotted, the short distance is isolated by direct air, and the electrical clearance will be guaranteed to a certain extent. The slot under the transformer is to allow better heat dissipation of the transformer and reduce EMC radiation caused by distributed capacitance.
The electric strength is the best in solid or liquid, such as diode PN junction, insulating grid of MOS tube, transformer oil. For example, the diameter of the bushing of a power transformer is not large, and the distance between the core column and the transformer shell is not large, but because it is in transformer oil and ceramics, it can withstand high voltage (the bushing is quite long and the surface is made of corrugations and grooves, just to increase the distance along the surface). Then there is normal temperature and pressure or high pressure gas. The worst electric strength is solid, because the solid surface will be contaminated with dust and moisture.
