What is LED PCB?

LEDs are light emitting diodes, that is, semiconductor diodes. The LEDs are soldered to a printed circuit board with a chip that produces light when electrically connected. Heat sinks and ceramic bases are used to bond the chips. Because LED PCBs tend to generate heat, cooling is required. Aluminum PCBs contain a thin layer of thermally conductive dielectric material that transfers and dissipates heat with greater efficiency.
