Lack Of Materials Alleviated, Automotive PCB/FPC Supply Chain Optimistic

Jun 09, 2022

The continuous recovery of the auto market and the rapid growth of new energy vehicles have driven the demand for automotive electronics. Looking into the second half of the year, automotive-related PCB manufacturers expect to get rid of the interference of sealing and control, and the shortage of materials will gradually ease. It is expected that automotive-related products will still have a good contribution in the second half of the year.

Automotive board PCB suppliers, such as Beton PCB factory, many of them experienced a good recovery in revenue in May, driven by smooth shipments.

The industry said that since last year, many applications have been seriously disturbed by long and short materials. This year, it can be seen that the shortage of materials such as mobile phones, laptops, and tablets has eased. It is the turn of automotive electronics. With the unblocking of traffic in mainland China, it is expected that the supply chain situation will become smoother and smoother. Therefore, it is optimistic that automotive electronics will have a good rebound in the second half of the year.

Beton PCB has continued to adjust its product mix in recent years. Rigid-flex boards are mainly related to the supply of high-end notebook displays. The proportion of automotive boards has continued to increase. The traditional peak season for half a year will be higher. The company previously pointed out that it will continue to expand products such as ADAS and high-frequency boards for automobiles/electric vehicles, and the proportion of long-term automotive applications will increase to 50%.

Beton PCB is optimistic that the growth momentum in 2022 will come from the continuous growth of electric vehicles.
